Looks like GCU already signed a deal to be in the CIT or at least got the invite. Just do not know if they are hosting yet.

This makes me thrilled! I kinda wondered b/c everyone that is involved with the men's hoops team kept saying stuff like last game in the WAC or keep up the energy for the postseason. so I kinda thought there was something in the works one way or another.

More exciting to watch in the CBI. they traditionally have better teams but we will have more success in the CIT

Sure but GCU is postseason basketball. The Lopes can't get picky right now when it comes to postseason tournaments. The Lopes have a chance to go deeper in the CIT, it would be great if the Lopes win the whole thing!

I think we will here something this week, maybe by Wednesday or Thursday regarding that we are playing in the CIT and whether we are hosting a game or not. I hope we are... but the feeling I get is we are not. I know you have to pay to host and I think it is steep, about $50,000...
